OCTH 660 - Leadership and Ethics in Occupational Therapy Credits: Three (3) Prerequisite: OCTH-610 and OCTH-611 This course discusses ethics relevant to occupational therapy practice and incorporates it into discussions on leadership skills and clinical practice. Using empirical evidence, case-scenarios and student experiences, the course provides an in-depth examination of the importance ethical duty has for modern occupational therapy practice. The course includes analysis of the qualities of leadership, including systemic thinking, cultural competence, empathy and altruism. The course culminates in a student led mock ethics conference.
