SPLP 630 - Voice Disorders and Fluency Disorders

Credits: Three (3)
Participants will learn about the anatomy and physiology of the vocal mechanism. They will study clients who have voice disorders, such as vocal nodules and alaryngeal speech. Assessment and treatment strategies will be studied in depth in order to prepare participants to treat this client population.  Students will learn the characteristics, diagnosis, and intervention strategies for fluency disorders.
