PHTH 521 - Neuroscience of Function and Movement II


Credits: 3
Part II of the two series course on Neuroscience of Function & Movement will address both neuroanatomical and physiological aspects of movement from a functional perspective. Focus will be on neural transmission related to sensory input and motor output. Processing within the central nervous for movement regulation, motor planning and learning, cognitive and vestibular function will include clinical application across the various locations within the central and peripheral nervous systems in order to begin recognizing altered movements and behaviors that may occur due to disease, injury and pain.
Note: Physical Therapy students only
