PHTH 506 - Total Human Anatomy I

Credits: 3
This course will focus on the anatomy of the upper quadrant, upper trunk, neck and head. Through identification of the various structures of the human body, the students will be introduced to histology to increase application in future courses of various tissues related to physiological systems and pain. This course will be aligned with subject matter being taught in PHTH 511 Neuroscience of Movement I and PHTH 509 Kinesiology I to enhance learning and application to the clinical practice of physical therapy.
Prerequisite: BIOL-102 or BIOL-118 & HEPR-480
Corequisite: PHTH-506L
