It begins with the philosophical and religious underpinnings of the concept of evil and uses these help the student conceptualize the nature of psychopathy. The course closely examines the extensive social scientific research on psychopathy, what it is, what it is not, and the factors that fundamentally comprise it. Multiple manifestations of psychopathy are analyzed in depth.
