COSC 442 - Maryville Emerging Technologies Application Lab (METAL) Credits: 3 This experiential learning course is designed to immerse students in the practical application of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies to solve real-world challenges faced by Maryville University and its corporate training program, Maryville WORKs. Students will engage in cross-disciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and implement technology solutions that enhance university operations, academic experiences, and corporate training outcomes. Through hands-on projects, students will not only contribute to the university’s technological advancement but also gain invaluable experience collaborating with industry partners, thereby enhancing their readiness for the tech-driven workforce.
Note: This course can be repeated, but no more than 9 hours can be earned for enrollments in COSC-442 and COSC-499, combined.
