NURS 661 - Psychiatric Mental Health Diagnosis and Management I

Credits: 3
This course is designed to develop the student into the advanced practice nursing role in caring for individuals with a mental health disorder, across the lifespan using psychotherapy. Different treatment modalities will include individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy.
Prerequisite : NURS 660  
Corequisite : NURS 662  or NURS 662C
