HEPR 300 - CULTURAL DIVERSITY IN HEALTH & ILLNESS

The course explores the theoretical and conceptual aspects of inter-national and cross-cultural healthcare. Topics include culture and ethnicity; cultural variations in response to actual or potential problems of health or illness; review of research literature; and methods of caring for and treating individuals with culturally influenced responses.
