ACSC 421 - ACTUARIAL MODELING I

Credits: Three
Prerequisite: ACSC 371, ACSC 414
This course is the first part of the sequential courses in actuarial modeling to develop the student’s knowledge of the theoretical basis of actuarial models and the application of those models to insurance and other financial risks. Topics include survival models, life tables, mortality rates, life insurance, life annuities, and benefit premiums. This course combine with ACSC 422 covers materials for students to prepare Actuarial Professional exam MLC.
