Women’s Studies Minor

Women’s Studies is a multidisciplinary approach to the study of women’s experiences, roles and contributions to society. Requirements for the minor in women’s studies are SOC/WS 251/351 Introduction to Women’s Studies, plus other WS courses (3-4 credits each), which may include independent study and/or internship courses approved by the Women’s Studies Steering Committee for a minimum of 18 credits. Most courses in the women’s studies program are cross-listed in the humanities and social sciences.
