The Accounting Systems and Forensics program meets the dynamic needs of students interested in careers in forensic accounting, IT audit, system assurance services and small business accounting services. This degree gives the accounting student a competitive advantage in today’s global business environment with rapidly changing technology.
Students will develop skills that allow them to be involved in accounting system development, from planning and analysis to design and implementation. Topics include accounting database design and development, business process mapping, accounting software, data analytics, internal control, cybersecurity, IT Audit and forensic accounting.

Business Core Requirement
All majors in the School of Business must complete a business core of 36 - 39 credit hours. Note:

CPA Examination Eligibility
To be eligible for the CPA Examination in Missouri and many other states, candidates are required to complete 150 credit hours of college level course work. To satisfy the 150-hour requirement, Maryville University offers dual degrees in Accounting and Accounting Systems & Forensics.
