The need for marketing expertise is shared by both industrial corporations and not-for-profit institutions. Marketing is a dynamic area of study which must keep pace with the continual changes occurring in global, social and economic systems. Marketing graduates with high levels of expertise find employment opportunities in sales, advertising, retailing, research, direct, Internet and international marketing functions.

Business Core Requirement
All majors in the School of Business must complete a business core of 36 - 39 credit hours. Note:
All majors in the School of Business must take a minimum of MATH 117 College Algebra. Marketing Major Requirements:
The Marketing major requires 24 credit hours, including 15 hours in required courses and 9 hours in elective courses. Marketing Major Electives:
Choose 9 credit hours from the following: Recommended Courses
These courses are optional and would be in addition to the business core and marketing major requirements. These courses will count as general elective credits toward a Marketing degree. |
