The John E. Simon School of Business introduced the Master of Science in Accounting the 2016-2017 academic year. This program, as are all programs at Maryville University, is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). However, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), our specialized accrediting organization, will not add any new programs to the list of accredited programs until the new program has been offered for two years, and its first students have graduated.
