International Studies, B.A.

The International Studies major educates students about emerging global and international issues concerning politics, art, culture and religion, and social policy. Its purpose is to produce an informed and broadly educated global citizenry who can then take this learning to both private and public sector professions and arenas that address a wide variety of international issues and global challenges. This will require a study-abroad experience (or related internship), analytical and reasoning skills, cross-cultural attitudinal skills , and knowledge about specific contemporary global and cultural issues and processes.
