The Certificate in Data Analytics offered by the John E. Simon School of Business is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to analyze and interpret large sets of data. Students will learn to extract meaningful insights and make data-driven decisions. Through a project-based approach, students can customize their work to various industries and work functions and use current technology and software tools to develop a customized portfolio.
Program Learning Outcomes
Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics should be able to:
- Transform data into knowledge to solve business problems for better decision making
- Design and construct database models
- Design and test analytics models for decision making
- Design and interpret interactive dashboards to solve or inform a business problem
Related Program
All courses completed as part of this certificate will count toward the Data Analytics, M.S. degree program.

Additional Information
- All course requirements for this certificate must be completed within two years of enrollment into the certificate program.
- Students who complete multiple certificates can apply up to six credit hours of previously completed coursework toward completion of each certificate.
