In addition, the graduate program offers a post-Master’s certificate option in each of the Nurse Practitioner concentrations. The curriculum is designed to provide maximum flexibility for part-time study with classes on-line.
Effective Spring 2024, all five concentrations will contain 750 clinical hours. This change is to prepare students to meet changing standards for certification. Students admitted Fall 2023 and prior will remain in the current curriculum but may elect to move into the new curriculum by notifying the Office of Academic Records.
The baccalaureate degree in nursing, the master’s degree in nursing, the Doctor of Nursing Practice and the post-graduate APRN certificates at Maryville University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington DC 20001 202-887-6791.
