Students who wish to teach mathematics at the high school level (grades 9-12) enter the secondary/high school teacher preparation program. The program provides a double major in education and mathematics, involving extensive professional education courses with a strong grounding in content area coursework. All teacher preparation programs also involve extensive experiences in partner schools.
Prior to acceptance, transfer students may need to pass the MoGEA and/or MoCA at 220 or higher, depending on the number of credit hours they are able to transfer into Maryville. Please direct questions to Stacey Ruffin.
