The Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Modeling for Business is a unique and innovative program that integrates computer skills and mathematical theory with practical applications in economics, finance and general business. This multidisciplinary multidisciplinary program, co-sponsored with Maryville’s John E. Simon School of Business, enhances the employment opportunities of mathematically oriented students in a wide variety of fields in the world of business and finance.
The program consists of 20 courses, covering business, mathematics and statistics, and computer skills. Students completing the required courses will automatically receive a minor in Business Administration.

General Education Requirements:
- One course in art, aesthetics, music, or performance
- One course in English or a foreign language
- One course in philosophy
- Two courses chosen from English, the arts, aesthetics, foreign language, humanities, philosophy or religion
- One course in American government or history
- Two electives, representing different disciplines, chosen from economics, geography, history, political science, psychology or sociology
- One course in science
Additional Requirements:
- Additional electives to reach a total of 48 hours.
