The Maryville University Nursing Program offers a 36–42 credit hour program leading to the Master of Science in Nursing. The graduate program offers four emphasis areas: a) Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, b) Family Nurse Practitioner, c) Nurse Educator, and d) Rehabilitation Nursing. In addition, the graduate program offers a post-Master’s option for each of the emphasis areas. Students will be advised on an individual basis regarding the required courses for their program. The curriculum is designed to provide maximum flexibility for full or part-time study with classes in the evening format. Admission requirements include:
- BSN form an NLNAC/CCNE accredited program or admission into the RN to MSN program.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 point scale.
- Current Missouri RN license.
- Three letters of recommendation.
- Copy of curriculum vitae.
- Undergraduate statistics course within five years of anticipated start date.
- A 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s professional goals.
- An interview may be requested.
