Education Minor for Secondary Teaching

The Education Minor provides early access to the M.A. in Education Secondary Teaching and Inquiry (MA/STI). Students must maintain an overall 2.7 GPA and a 3.0 GPA in the content area. Students enrolled in this program are advised by a School of Education adviser and Arts & Sciences adviser in their content area. Candidates apply for the Master’s program in the fall of their senior year. Early access does not guarantee acceptance into the MA/STI. Acceptance into the MA/STI requires 3.0 GPA, Praxis II passing score, graduate school application, and successful interview with the mentoring team. See the School of Education: Secondary Education Bridge   section for more details.
