Prerequisite: Biology major, take BIOL 118, BIOL 206; Biomedical major, take BIOL 102 or BIOL 118, and BIOL 206; CLS major, take BIOL 102 or BIOL 118, and BIOL 206; BIOL & CLS 5-year program take BIOL 102, BIOL 118 and BIOL 206. BIOL 204, MATH 141, and Junior status recommended for all majors
Corequisite: BIOL 353L

Students in this course will study transmission genetics, population genetics, microbial genetics, replication, transcription, translation, and mutation at an advanced level.
