SOC 348 - The Sociology of Poverty

Credits: Three (3)
This course surveys the theories concerning thecauses and consequences of poverty in the UnitedStates. The correlates to poverty and itsdistribution acorss categories (gender, race,age, and rural/urban) of the population wil alsobe examined. A critical analysis of the socialpolicy resposes to poverty will conclude thecourse.
