MATH 420 - Statistics for Science Research Credits: Three (3) This course covers research methods, design and statistical analysis for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and other sciences research questions. Topics includes the analysis of variance, regression models, factorial designs, fractional factorial designs, response surface methodology, nested and split-plot designs, the non-normality of response and the Box-Cox method for selecting the form of a transformation.
