PHYS 350 - Statics
Credits: 3
The field of statics is concerned with particles and rigid bodies that are in equilibrium. The course will cover equilibrium of particles in multiple dimensions, free-body diagrams for rigid bodies, and equilibrium structures.This course will emphasize a current topic in physics including but not limited to string theory, chaos theory, or multi-universe theory. This course will involve reading and discussion of the current topic.
Prerequisite: PHYS-153
