PHYS 440 - Modern Physics

Credits: 3
This course introduces topics in physics including quantum theory, atomic structure of matter, physical properties of solids, nuclear structure and relativity. This course has a MatLab component woven into the curriculum to further advance student programming skills and support the understanding of content in the course.
Prerequisite: PHYS-154 and MATH-152
