SOC 251 - Introduction to Women’s Studies Credits: 3 This course uses theoretical frameworks from sociology and social psychology to examine women’s issues and roles in contemporary society as well as their contributions to various disciplines. Topics include socialization, communication, health, media, leadership, sexual harassment, and violence. Women’s contributions to history, politics, education, and science are highlighted.
