OCTH 513 - Foundational Neuroscience


Credits: 3
This course explores neuroanatomy and neurophysiology concepts as they relate to the performance of human occupations. The structure and function of the human central and peripheral nervous systems will be applied to the analysis of normal and abnormal movement, sensory systems, vision, perception, cognition, learning, memory, and attention. Recent research that addresses the brain’s processing in serial and parallel, leading to performance in occupation will be discussed.
Prerequisite: OCTH-506
