By first examining dramatic works of literature as well as cinematic screenplays, students will learn and practice style and techniques that are geared towards composition for a visual medium, whether that be in theatre or film. Then, students will compose and workshop their own original story outline that will become either a short 10-minute play or screenplay of a short 10-minute film.
