SPTM 402 - Sport Business Data Analytics Structure and Preparation

In the Sports Data Analytics Track of the Rawlings Sports Business Management program, this course will further students’ data analysis capabilities previously acquired in SPTM-400 with hands-on data manipulation tasks based on real world sports industry examples. Often the data a business acquires or receives is not ready for modeling. It is, therefore, imperative to understand and know how to deal with the imperfections in data. Data wrangling is the process of preparing your data for deeper analysis; transforming and mapping raw data from one form to another to prep the data for insights.
