MUS 316 - World Music

Credits: 3
This course introduces the music of different cultures, excluding the Western Euro-American tradition. It explores art and ethnic music of India, Indonesia and the Far East as well as Africa, South America, and Australia.
 
Note: - Enrollment is open to all Maryville students. - This course invites students to explore and engage in both cultural and creative discovery from an analytical and synthetic perspective. - This course satisfies the Cultural and Creative Discovery Areas in the MCORE curriculum.
