NURS 619 - Leadership and Quality

Credits: 3
This course will examine advanced concepts of leadership and the foundations of quality improvement in advanced nursing practice. The course will explore leadership and change theories, quality improvement methodologies, interprofessional collaboration, and foundational concepts of informatics to measure quality. It will examine workplace violence along with individual conflict resolution styles. A strong emphasis is placed on real-world application of these concepts by developing a quality improvement project.
