HDFS 499 - Senior Experience: Capstone

Credits: 3
In Senior Experience: Capstone, students integrate theory and practice perspectives developed throughout their coursework and complete an applied project within their areas of interest. Each student will develop a project focus and timeline and collaborate with fellow students throughout the 16-week course. This iterative process allows students to gain new perspectives, develop real world project implementation and evaluation skills, as well as refine professional writing skills. The capstone senior experience course is encouraged for students considering graduate school. This course may be taken for elective credit alongside other HDFS senior experience courses.
