For students who enjoy studying about people, Maryville offers an outstanding social science curriculum with eight different major choices: Criminology, History, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Sociology, and Psychology/Sociology. At Maryville, a student in these disciplines develops the skills most valued by employers: excellent written and oral communication skills, “people skills” in interviewing and relating with a diverse population, skills in understanding how to gather and analyze information, and critical thinking skills.
