Education Minor

Maryville students not wishing to enroll in a teacher certification program may enroll in a separate program minor in education consisting of 18 credit hours, 12 hours of which must be at the 300 level or above. Beginning with the requiremnets listed below, the program gives an overview of American education as well as information on teaching methods, the psychology of the individual and other education-related areas. The minor in education is designed collaboratively among the student and his/her advisers in the academic area and education. More program information may be obtained from the School of Education.
