Post-Baccalaureate Certification in conjunction with the M.A.Ed.

Students with a B.A. degree may combine post-baccalaureate certification in elementary, middle level, K-12 art and secondary education with the M.A. degree. Additional undergraduate hours will be needed to fulfill certification requirements. The program requires daytime participation in classes and field experiences. Contact the School of Education for program details and a preliminary transcript analysis to determine if general education and content concentration requirements have been fulfilled within the bachelor’s degree.

One area of concentration must be chosen from science, language arts, mathematics or social studies, based on a transcript analysis. One special methods course and practicum are required in your area of concentration and will be counted toward your area of concentration. Specific art courses may be required after a transcript analysis and portfolio analysis and acceptance by the Art Faculty |
