Weekend and Evening College and RN-BSN Requirements
Due to the nature of their audiences, the curricula for the Nursing and BSN Completion majors offered in Maryville’s Weekend and Evening College format vary slightly from the traditional undergraduate curriculum. The WEC general education requirements retain the same focus and content but have different course restrictions. Specific WEC major or minor requirements can be found in any WEC office. (See a curriculum planning guide from the program office for proper sequencing of all courses.)

General Education Requirements for RN-BSN:
The general education requirements for Weekend and Evening College students in the School of Health Professions Nursing major and RN-BSN Completion:
- HUMANITIES (TWO COURSES)
- HISTORY or POLITICAL SCIENCE
Additional Requirements:
- Additional general education credits for a total of 65 credits.
Required Courses for RN-BSN Completion:
RN only, WEC only, Evening classes
Additional Requirements:
- Additional general education credits for a total of 65 credits.
