The Organizational Leadership degree blends communication, problem analysis, decision making, and strategic planning into a process-oriented educational progression. Courses which include organizational behavior, strategic leadership, group dynamics, ethics and sociology are taught by educators who understand and apply the modern concepts of a changing workplace in the classroom. The major goals for the program are to provide students with a working and conceptual understanding of organizational and group processes and with the skills necessary to function successfully in various organizational and group settings.

The major is both flexible and inclusive. It combines the liberal arts core, which may include transfer credits, the choice of one of many minors available or meaningful concentration with a solid foundation in the content related to organizational leadership.  Students’ knowledge and experience are drawn upon as coursework and experiential learning explore future trends and workplace realities to make education relevant for the 21st Century.
