Spanish Minor


The Spanish Minor at Maryville University gives students a thorough foundation in the Spanish language and provides them with the cultural competence needed to engage successfully in a multicultural society. The minor requires 21 credit hours. Students are encouraged to integrate study abroad programs into their minor; the Center for Global Education will help students plan these programs. Students also will have the opportunity to intern with local firms, hospitals, and other organizations involved with Hispanic business, education, and culture.

Students may choose their electives from courses offered through Maryville University and from courses offered through international programs affiliated with Maryville. A minimum of 6 credits is required.
