				This program is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree who would like to earn certification in middle school or high school. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and a passing score on the Missouri Content Assessment (MoCA or MEGA) in Mathematics – Grades 5 – 9 or 9 - 12, English – Grades 5 – 9 or 9 - 12, Social Science – Grades 5 – 9 or 9 - 12, Science – Grades 5 – 9, Biology – Grades 9 - 12, or Chemistry – Grades 9 - 12. The program provides students with a forward-thinking curriculum taught by accomplished and experienced faculty that emphasizes differentiation, culturally responsive teaching, and research. Graduates from this program have the opportunity to hone their skills in specialized areas in order to serve as master teachers in the field.
