MyMBA is a revolutionary MBA program designed to provide students with a fully customized learning experience tailored to their individual career goals and aspirations. This program breaks away from traditional one-size-fits-all approaches, offering a unique pathway that focuses on the specific skills and knowledge each student needs for success in their professional future.
Students will begin their MyMBA journey with a comprehensive assessment that evaluates their current knowledge, skills, and career ambitions. Using the results of this assessment, a personalized pathway will be created guiding students through 28 one-credit-hour skill-based courses. These courses are specifically selected to address gaps, build expertise, and align with the demands of their desired career path.
The curriculum is designed to help students develop practical real-world skills that can be applied immediately in their professional environments. From leadership development and strategic decision-making to advanced marketing and financial analysis, students will gain hands-on experience in areas critical to their success. Each course is compact, yet impactful, ensuring students maximize their learning in a focused and efficient manner.
The journey continues with 2 one-credit hour MBA Connect courses where students first explore their early skills to the current role within a firm and then connect their newly acquired skills to their future career goals. At the same time, students will benefit from networking within the larger program and connect with career and university resources.
The program concludes with a three-credit-hour capstone course where students will integrate and apply all the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout the program. This capstone project will challenge students to solve complex real-world business problems, showcasing their ability to think critically, strategically, and creatively. The final project will serve as both a demonstration of their achievements and a springboard for their next professional steps.
MyMBA is available only through your employer and does not overlap or replace Maryville’s traditional, online, or STEM MBA programs.
