- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Structural Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering Systems Science & Engineering
Students in this program will spend the first three years at Maryville acquiring a firm foundation in chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and/or biology, as well as a broad background in the humanities and social sciences. A GPA of 3.25 or better, both overall and in mathematics and science courses, are normally required. The students will continue with the final two years at Washington University, with an option available to earn a graduate degree in engineering. A high percentage of students of this program entering Washington University received some form of need-based assistance.
The Dual Degree study is an attractive alternative to traditional engineering curricula, which are often highly structured and require longer than four years to complete. The advantages of this degree program include the ability to complete degrees in two diverse areas, under predictable conditions and the opportunity to use the supportive, personalized environment at Maryville to develop the skills and confidence needed for success in engineering.
