Marketing, B.S.

The need for marketing expertise is shared by both industrial corporations and not-for-profit institutions. Marketing is a dynamic area of study which must keep pace with the continual changes occurring in global, social and economic systems. Marketing graduates with high levels of expertise find employment opportunities in sales, advertising, retailing, research, direct, Internet and international marketing functions.

Business Core Requirement


All majors in the School of Business must complete a business core of 33-36 credit hours.

Note:


All majors in the School of Business must take a minimum of MATH 117 College Algebra.

Marketing Major Electives:


  • Choose five additional marketing electives courses. 15

Marketing Major Options with Specific Concentrations


Sales Management


This concentration encourages students to delve into the challenging and rewarding area of sales and sales Management.

Marketing Communication


This concentration is designed for students wishing to focus their studies on advanced communication techniques used in advertising and marketing, and complete the full business core requirements.
