ACCT 621 - Forensic Accounting
Credits: Three (3)
Prerequisite: ACCT-610 or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting
This course introduces the student to the topic of forensic accounting and how it pertains to various litigation support and investigative accounting settings. Students will recognize the characteristics of fraud, fraud prevention and detection, calculation of economic damages, investigative techniques, asset recovery and valuation.
