EDUC 461 - Early Childhood Assessment Credits: Three (3) Students will study the basic concepts of test construction, assessment, and the categories of instruments used in screening and diagnosing learning and other aspects of early childhood development for children with and without disabilities. The course prepares students to identify tests and assessment procedures, evaluate them for adequacy and appropriateness, and translate the results into developmentally appropriate practice.
