PSYC 425 - Organizational Psychology Credits: Three (3) Organizational psychology is the scientific study of how and why people think, feel, and behave as they do in organizations. Building on research in social psychology, it applies psychological science principles and theories to work settings (organizations) for the purpose of improving the well-being and effectiveness of employees and the organization. This seminar course includes topics such as perception and learning in organizations; attitudes; job satisfaction; justice, diversity and inclusion; stress and health; conflict; individual differences and personality; motivation; decision making; teams; power and influence; organization culture and change.
