EDUC 200 - Practicum in School and Society Credits: 1 or 2 The course is designed as a blended learning experience with learning in the K-12 classroom and campus classroom. The overall focus of this course is on interactive observations, which include engaging with students and forming relationships with them, observing classroom routines, procedures, and transitions. Emphasis is placed on understanding the MEES Standards, equitable teaching practices, reflection, and personal goal setting. Candidates will be formatively assessed on future teacher dispositions. Teacher candidates will attend practicum during assigned hours unless approved by the program director. Note: This course is required of all students entering teacher education. 1 or 2 variable credit with Program Director’s approval.
