BIOL 211 - Research Methods 2 and Professional Development
Credits: 1
An online course to be offered during the Sophomore or Junior year (for transfers). This course is the continuation of BIOL 111. It will focus on developing a research question, experimental design, bioinformatics, data analysis , scientific literacy. Information advising how students begin the process to apply for graduate school or medical school will be provided. Steps to prepare for a job search and interview process will be introduced. Material instructing students how to write a CV, how to prepare for a presentation and how to write a letter to a future employer will also be introduced.
Prerequisite: BIOL-111
