MUTH 693 - Specialization in Music Therapy II
Credits: 3
Student will work with the faculty advisor to complete clinical and didactic study opportunities within a defined area of specialization in music therapy. The study opportunities will be an extension of areas initiated by the student in MUTH-691 (Specialization in Music Therapy). Examples of study opportunities include but are not limited to Music Therapy in Psychotherapy and Psychiatry, Music Therapy with Exceptional Children, Music Therapy in Gerontology, and Music Therapy in Medical Settings (including an emphasis on music interface with neurophysiology and psychoneuroimmunology). An audio-recorded podcast of the learning experience will be required.
