NURS 203C - Required Clinical - Introduction to Clinical Nursing Practice

Credits: 1
This introductory clinical course is designed to equip students with foundational skills essential for patient care and professional practice in healthcare settings. Students will develop competency in basic clinical skills, including performing a.m. care, effective communication with patients and healthcare teams, and navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Emphasis will be placed on fostering professionalism, ethical behavior, and patient centered care. Through hands on practice, guided instruction, and reflective learning, students will build confidence and proficiency in delivering safe and compassionate care to diverse populations.
