NURS 206L - Pharmacology Nursing Skills Lab Credits: 1 This course focuses on developing the foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for safe and effective medication administration in nursing practice. Students will learn to perform accurate medication calculations and administer medications via various routes using evidence-based techniques. Emphasis is placed on the rights of medication administration to ensure patient safety. Concepts of infection prevention and control, effective communication, accurate documentation, and professionalism will be reinforced. Through hands-on practice in a simulated lab environment, students will develop the confidence and competence required to deliver pharmacological care in clinical settings. Prerequisite1: MATH 115 , MATH 116 , MATH 117 , MATH 125 , or MATH 151 Corequisite1: NURS 204L (or prior), NURS 205 (or prior)
